I haven’t done one of these animal blogs in a while. I put 2lbs back on over Christmas, but I’ve lost them, plus another 3lbs, thanks to a pretty punishing new programme the trainer at the gym set me on with. I’ve been doing interval training on the cardio machines, then a lot of new conditioning exercises which basically amount to torture with a gym ball.
I may be challenging for the World Record for the slowest weight loss ever here, because it has been over a year that I’ve been doing this now. I suppose that has the added advantage of me already being able to maintain it though, rather than yo-yoing like I have done in the past.
Anyway, without further ado, my weight loss is now the equivalent to…
An adult beagle!
Which is about 11kg, or 25lbs. Seriously, I cannot believe the weight I’ve shed weighs the same as a beagle, that is just crazy. Can you imagine carrying a beagle around with you all the time? No wonder I was always tired!
I’ve reassessed my goals, and I want to lose another 5lbs and then see how I feel and whether or not I want to stop or continue. So, here is a before and after shot. The after shot is me messing about in the London Transport Museum, it was the only full body shot I could find!

Hi! I’m Lindsey. Although I haven’t had WLS, I have struggled with my weight since childhood. I’ll be blogging here from time to time with updates on how I’m trying to keep myself trim, my ups and downs at the gym and lots of other weight-related issues.
