It’s been a while since I updated on my weight loss and I have hit a bit of a plateau recently (mostly because of Easter – all that chocolate did some damage!). But, I have lost a little more weight since my last update, which means it’s time to equate my weight loss to a new animal.
I have now lost the equivalent of…
…a koala! A southern male koala, to be exact.
I’ve now lost 27lbs (12kg), which seems like a modest weight loss to me when I think of it in terms of numbers, but I’ve held a koala (it pooed on me, but that’s beside the point) and they are HEAVY.
Also, when I started these blogs, my goal was to lose the equivalent of a koala, so I’ve hit my target. But now I’m here, I want to lose a bit more. Not a massive amount, just another 5 or 6 pounds. I think it’s important to be flexible with your goals while you’re losing weight. You’re changing, so your goals and your hopes might change too.
